Fish On Friday

As most people know, Catholics eat fish on Fridays during Lent. Also, there are many Catholics who also avoid meat on Fridays throughout the rest of the year.

But for those who are not Catholic, Friday meant fish at the school cafeteria. Cheap runny ketchup was the cocktail sauce and the fish patty was rectangular.

Baked fish with tartar sauce …. 

A generous ⅓ pound serving! A balanced meal including parsley potatoes, buttered peas, cole slaw.
