Me & The Q3

This Leica Q3, designed, engineered and hand-built by Leica Camera AG in Wetzlar, Germany was shipped to me after a short time on the backorder list at the Leica Store in Miami, Florida. It is many a photographer’s dream to own and use a Leica. I had expected a wait time of several months for this camera and had placed my name on a few backorder lists around the country.

The Leica Q3 is selling like crazy and it strongly reminds of a time when the artists and creatives using Nikon and Canon cameras started switching to FujiFilm cameras and lenses because of better images and those famous Fuji colors. That is also the time when I ditched my nearly all plastic Nikon DSLR for the FujiFilm system. Now, I have two mostly metal XT-5 bodies and eleven FujiFilm XF lenses, nine of which are prime lenses. And, I just got a Leica. Uh-Oh.
