A static image and a dynamic image differ primarily in how they are presented and interact with viewers:
- Static Image:
- Definition: A still image that does not change or move. Common examples include photographs, illustrations, logos, and posters.
- Characteristics: Fixed content, consistent appearance, no user interaction.
- Uses: Print media, websites, social media posts, advertising materials.
- Dynamic Image:
- Definition: An image that changes over time or through user interaction. This can include animations, videos, GIFs, and interactive graphics.
- Characteristics: Movement or transition effects, responsive to user actions (like clicks or hovers), can display updated content automatically.
- Uses: Web design, online advertisements, digital presentations, interactive apps.
Key Difference: Static images remain the same, while dynamic images involve motion or interactivity to engage viewers more effectively.
