My Bitchin’ Camaro

The second-generation Chevrolet Camaro is a “pony car” produced by the Chevrolet division of General Motors. It was  produced for the 1970 through 1981 model years. It was introduced February 26, 1970. It was longer, lower, and wider than the first generation Camaro. A convertible body-type was no longer available for this generation of the model. GM engineers said the second generation is much more of “A Driver’s Car” than its predecessor.

It didn’t matter. It was my first car and it wasn’t a sedan or a station wagon. The car was bought with a Forest Green paint job and cheap hubcaps. It was painted 1976 Corvette Competition Orange and Cragar mag wheels were added with some nice Michelin tires. A spoiler, complete re-upholstery and the accessory of the times, a CB antenna. My first car and my most memorable car.
