The Regal Beagle

The Regal Beagle is a fictional neighborhood pub featured prominently in the classic American sitcom Three’s Company, which aired from 1977 to 1984. Located near the Santa Monica apartment complex where the main characters Jack Tripper, Janet Wood, and Chrissy Snow (later replaced by Cindy Snow and Terri Alden) lived, The Regal Beagle served as a casual hangout spot for the show’s characters.

The pub was characterized by its cozy ambiance, simple decor, and friendly atmosphere, making it the perfect backdrop for comedic interactions and relationship dynamics. Bartender Mike the bartender, played by Jordan Charney, was a recurring character who often engaged in light-hearted banter with Jack and his friends. The Regal Beagle was more than just a set—it became an iconic element of the show, reflecting the laid-back social scenes typical of Southern California during the late 1970s and early 1980s.

Throughout the series, The Regal Beagle was the site of many humorous misunderstandings, flirtatious encounters, and schemes, providing a setting that complemented the show’s themes of mistaken identities and comedic mishaps.

He's from the past so he's knows the future. Dirque du Soleil hails from the San Fernando Valley in Southern California where he was raised by hippie acrobats who eventually left him to join a French circus. After his parents left, Dirque survived by appearing in several “off-the-lot” film productions and by giving Hustle lessons at the local discotheque. Even though he was never on Love Boat, he has served as a consultant for many 70s revival television shows over the years.
