A Letter To My Mother On December 7, 1941

On December 7, 1941 a father (my grandfather) wrote a letter to his young daughter (my mother).

It is a very sweet note to a pretty young lady. This letter was given to her on the morning of December 7, 1941 only moments before the attack on Pearl Harbor began. This year marks the 74th anniversary of the attack and this letter to my mother.

Letter to BWH

December 7, 1941

them all day long.

And so make life;  death,

and that vast forever,

One grand sweet song.
