My Last Cigarette

My Last Cigarette

I began smoking my last cigarette on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 2:33 in the afternoon. That little stinker probably made it to 2:38 before being smoked down to the filter by someone who was very determined to make this cigarette his last cigarette. No cheating this past year either! I haven’t even held a cigarette in a year.

Me … One Year Ago Today

I have to say it really is wonderful being a non-smoker now … and now for a whole year too! Everything is better and it is great not being a slave to tobacco. And, you save a heck of a lot of money too.

In fact, at $8.00 per package of smokes for 365 straight days, the amount of money I saved came out to a total of $2,920.00. So, as a reward to myself (which experts say you should do), I bought the following as my gift to myself for quitting smoking and surviving the three major surgeries I had to endure in the same year. Whew!
