Photo Series: House Fire (Part 2)

These images were taken at a residential house fire in Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 26, 2012. The 3,000 square foot home was a total loss from a fire that started in the kitchen. Everybody in the house at the time of the fire got out of the inferno safely.

However, members of the Tulsa Fire Department had to battle this fire in 100 degree weather. A school bus full of relief firefighters was brought to the site so that fellow firefighters could take a break from the intense heat. These images show the dedication and compassion that was expressed by the Tulsa Fire Department on that day.
