A self-portrait taken in late December 2015 while recovering from a second major abdominal surgery in eight weeks. Camera and meds both close by. I was still very much in pain during this photo. A third surgery would happen in another eight weeks.

Camera Settings:  ISO 200  23mm at f/1.8  0.5 second.
